Beware if you order online. Chat customer service can be hard but this one painless. I am very happy with this service and overall, I got my new contact lenses very fast. And it doesn't have to be from one of their drs. It takes a pretty twisted company to use these tactics over and over again. They must have a distribution center nearby or something. If they hire CSR's like Claire, I'll take my business elsewhere. 1-800-CONTACTS sent me the wrong prescription contacts (+8 instead of -8) and I had to book an eye examination because I thought there was something seriously wrong with my eyes. i even got free expedited shipping one time when my old eyecare provider wouldn't hand over my prescription. Thanks to this young lady and to 1-800-contacts! I recommend looking into Walgreens for contacts before ordering through 1-800-Contacts, I found my contacts for a much lower price & less hassle. So I contacted 1-800 contacts and the the agents were so helpful and nice. I give them 5 stars because I ordered through customer chat & he was very polite & very helpful. She was able to order my contacts, get my insurance applied which saved me $111.00 all while being courteous and quick with her responses. I ordered a different brand of lenses this time around, 1800contacts had given me a free trial lens pack in the past so I thought I'd give them a try because they are a little bit cheaper due to being made by 1800contacts. They won't offer a straight up discount. I will NEVER do business with them again. Informed Delivery shows all mail sent to my address (even if the mailman accidentally delivers it somewhere else), and nothing from 1-800 Contacts around that time. I had to get my contact prescription from my doc. Ran into a slight issue with the confirmation of our prescriptions as we go to different doctors and the 1800contacts website only let us enter in one doctor.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Their customer service has always been great in my experience, but I still had to pay 7 dollars for shipping to exchange the lenses for my normal brand. Still, she wanted to argue some more and once again hung up on me. I've been a loyal, satisfied customer for years, but they now have my business for life!!!
After I renewed my prescription, I live chatted with another representative that offered to change my shipping method to next-day shipping. For the most part, the reps are helpful and caring but I probably won't use the site again for a very long time.You would need to get a daily disposable fitting from your eye doctors office before changing brands.
