2016/09/10 for Seat Economy
Flew LHR-LAX on March 4, 2015. The new configuration is torture even in the priority seats.
Whilst Finnair is often the most convenient and economical way to travel to Finland from Australia, they will no longer enjoy my custom. I do not buy Premium Economy as it is just a race to the bottom by the likes of Virgin and BA.
SeatGuru User on SirLou L on I strongly recommend to get an aisle, or main cabin extra. Service was excellent and everything about the flight was good. These babies belong in the coach section, where a bassinet or some other sort of crib can be set up for them. I'd have complained if I were sat in those seats. As for the seat itself, it was horrible. Flew DFW-LHR.
The seats recline almost flat and the seat in front of you doesn't cramp you when it reclines.

This really is worth paying the extra for - it was about £82 each, and you have so much more legroom and space. 2013/12/26 for Seat 16D But yesterday was a pretty full flight, I'm 6-2, sitting in 24D, and person in front of me reclined immediately after takeoff, so it was an awful 10.5 hrs. In fact the proximity is actually a convenience. Seat 11A from SYD to LAX. A HUGE improvement over the unreconfigured 777-200, so make sure to check the type of plane prior to booking you biz ticket. Eventually moved to warmer seat. Biz class seats are fantastic. Good part is only one person sitting next to you, you are also sitting close to bathrooms for easy access 2015/03/05 for Seat 19D Being right behind the row of three seat means extra space and nobody comes close to bumping you walking back and forth. Nonetheless, I would select this seat again without reservation LHR-LAX. 2015/10/12 for Seat 47L The business class seats are better than or equal to a lot of First Class seats of most european carriers. Light from the galley is only a small part of the problem with this seat.

Premium economy is sized like Delta's standard trans-con economy. 2018/08/26 for Seat 4D Take note that the Bose headsets provided have a special 3-pin plug that only powers the noise-cancelling feature when its plugged into the aircraft receptacle, so they don't work in any of your typical personal devices (laptop, iPad, etc). First time on the 777-300ER and enjoyed the Premium Economy offering. 2016/07/23 After cocktails & dinner you can change into the PJ's provided and press the bed button and the seat combines with the second "visitor" seat in your unit to form a flat bed. Brian T on Have flown LH, OS, BA, UA and VS business class, and AA's seats on the 773 exceed all of them in terms of privacy, space and comfort.
Seats are very comfortable, extend fully 180 degrees, privacy enhanced by the pod like configuration. 3G is a much better seat as you are in the quiet area with only 8 seats but farther away from the galley and it makes a HUGE difference! I slept very well throughout the flight. Leg room fine, IFE good, food awful. If you are over 6'2" it will be a nightmare flight overseas.
