But soon afterward I was proved wrong, not only is "Planet Hulk" one of the best animated films released in decades, the movie could start a trend in more mature animated features geared primarily towards grown up audiences. Honestly, most agree that the Marvel Universe is the richest, most entertaining fictional realm ever imagined by man.

For the third and final fight, their opponent is Beta Ray Bill, compelled by an obedience disk to kill or be killed. The characters looked like those in X Men Evolution and Ben Ten so I thought it would be just another boring and mediocre direct to video release. I can't comment on the changes from the original 400-page story since I haven't read it; although, many of the changes are discussed on the commentary track and in the "Making of..." featurette. Highly recommended I am a big Hulk fan and always have been...so I've read a lot of his comics...this movie was so awesome and filled with action I'm not sure i liked it more than hulk vs because i prefer a hulk that straight savage rather than a suppressed version where he is hulk but can still speak and stuff..
Bill leaves the planet as Warbound escape to the resistance’s hideout at a nearby town. He awakens on board the shuttle before it arrives at its intended destination. It really deserved to be in theaters, but I'm guessing that the number of previous films and fairly so-so box office success has reduced further Hulks to DVD only. Caiera catches up to Hulk after the Red King orders her to kill him. When she calls the Red King for help, he reveals the Spikes are his creation. He is then forced into slavery by the Red Dude. It would be a dream come true if you could have Frank Miller take this on with real actors, this could be one of the best comic book to movie adaptions ever. I also saw the enjoyable 'Incredible Hulk', that made the character do pretty much all the character does on Earth. That night the resistance comes to rescue the gladiators but the Hulk refuses to go, warning there's a trap. At the same time, an alien with green gravy granules prays for the 'Sakaarson'to come to the planet. While not as complex as the reads themselves, these animated features carry their own level of satisfaction. Strange should be doing all of the artwork for whatever Marvel Comics character they will use to make a movie. There was nothing good about this whatsoever. Perhaps it is my decades of 'fandom' or high expectations, but for me this title just fell into the same category of unfulfilled expectations as other Hulk movies and DVD's have done in the past.

The artwork and animation was horrible and the story totally sucked!!! After the smoke clears, the unharmed Caiera finds the Hulk’s body and informs the Red King he is dead. Was this review helpful? The Red Dude then starts fighting Hulk in a big ba-blinding golden robot suit. 3 out of 6 found this helpful. He becomes a gladiator, fights off the Thing on a diet, only there are about 6 of em, along with a giant technology monster(?) Just like "Hulk VS" before it, this film delivers the goods. Since all the characters are new we are treated to a half dozen boring back stories and given no explanation why Beta Ray Bill was there. The voice acting is very good.
