It definitely is a  small parking lot with only 1 way driving. Donner Summit … It wasn’t looking good, but nothing seemed broken.When I looked at the tree and the menacing broken branches protruding from it, I know now how lucky I am.
We purchased the online day pass (just go to google and type in donner summit snopark pass), turned my auto lock to "never" on my iPhone and left it on my dashboard. Great lot with an upper hill area for sledding or inner tubing. “Donner Summit Sno-Park is right next to the Boreal Inn and requires a Sno-Park permit that either costs $5/day or $25/season. !Was disappointed... there were a few cool little sled runs on little hills in between trees... with a semi frozen river between them and the parking lot.
