As a lot of people know, Sydney was PTA's chosen title for a film about, well, a guy named Sydney. Not my favorite but I'll admit that 90's Gwenyth was a force.If this was a straight to demand film that stars actors that no one has heard of along with a director that makes straight to demand films, then the rating would be This movie is slow, boring, not entertaining, the cast doesn’t make the movie anybody and given this is from Paul Thomas Anderson; it should have been at least good. Cold, calculating and charming; the viewer never knows what this character is up to. Make no mistake: this film is every bit as good, perhaps better, than "Boogie." When I go to a great movie I can live somebody else’s life for a while.
