I had previously only come with adults and Root Down is one of my favorite places.

It was my first time there and love the atmosphere, service and food!This was the first time I celebrated something at Root Down and they didn't make us feel special. We enjoyed their brunch menu and the pastry of the day was phenomenal!
The chicken was amazing and I love your food but charging $17 for a side salad is ridiculous.Perfect first date for me and my girlfriend! The food was fantastic. Root Down serves “globally influenced seasonal cuisine,” which basically means we go where inspiration leads us. Will return.We went for my birthday and brought our 8 and 10 year old boys for the first time.
Not just a restaurant, Root Down is a neighborhood nexus and sensory rabble-rouser ... served with a spoonful of nostalgia. *Intended for two guests, can only be ordered in pairsFriday 11am to 2pm / Saturday and Sunday 10am to 2:30pm Would return in the future.We had a wonderful meal outside on the patio at Root Down.
