I was in Berkeley and decided to have dinner there since I was already in the area. Deft coming back soon!!!Excellent. The last time I went to Turkish kitchen it was about 1 hour and 10 mins before closing. My recommendation is to order the lamb shank to go.I don't frequent Turkish places, but when I do I usually enjoy it.I went to Sunday brunch  , servers guarding the buffet and giving one piece of everything . If it's your first time trying…""Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in NYC. Great brunch if u want to try everything and reasonably priced.Edit: Downgrading to a 3 as there's much better nearby, been here again with similarly ehh service. This restaurant is incredible. Their food was great. Everyone was happy and enjoyed tastes of the other dishes. What safety measures are they taking? They also have a small Dias in the restaurant - likely they host artists/ performers. Approx $30 per person for all you can eat Turkish food. Not only do they offer flavorful doner meats, but they offer them at those lovable cheap Berkeley prices! I'm Turkish and a foodie. See All 300. I loooooove this wine, I always get a bottle when I go out for Ethiopian. I highly recommend the octopus and calamari for appetizers, and the sis kebab and ground chicken w/ pita entrées. Not a bad item on the menu., especially the Doner Kabob..Highly recommend! Food: I got the fried pineapple rice with chicken and it was just right. Are they offering takeout, delivery, or both? We arrived 30 minutes early and were seated immediately, which was a plus. Between us, we got dolma, Mucver (zucchini pancakes), falafel, and  and order of feta and tomatoes. They sat us right away (there's almost always no wait here). While there were slight problems with the speed of the service in the beginning, the food overall was pretty good. It was 21 years ago I visited first time and it was tremendous that time as well. Everything was tasty and fresh. I have been disappointed by many kebab places but I will return to this one. The selections is varied enough that from the pickiest eater to the more adventurous eater will be satisfied. What safety measures are they taking? I had the iskander and the lamb tasted nice and fresh. There's a table with all sorts of colorful salads and another with hot fares (grilled meats/rice). We called ahead to make reservation for a group of 4 but were told to just walk in. Amazing take out, friendly staff. I like a falafel that is more coarse than reconstituted cookie cutter variety. Love the Shepard's salad, lamb chops, hummus and the turkish sweets are YUM!!! The food is incredibly fresh and always consistent. You will not be disappointed. On reaching there we realized they have ample seating area upstairs and downstairs. I wish they really mentioned this before they sat us because I hate feeling rushed to put in an order. I found my usual place to be a bit better though this would be nicer for a larger group.Fantastic Turkish restaurant with interesting decor, an upbeat vibe and wonderful food.Came here for dinner with some friends. Good atmosphere, wonderful food, fabulous service (and every eggplant appetizer and a shrimp casserole - to die for!!). Restaurants. Lamb dishes are fine too. Personally, I loved the Mucver but the falafel was only so-so in my book. Delivery & Pickup Options - 329 reviews of Turkish Cuisine "Went here with a group for lunch, and the service was great.
