Of course, it didn't hurt that Vicy's second husband, Dick Young, was a Director for United. It was during the '78 national convention in LAS that I came to know her personally. From that point through 2003 we raised over $700,000 and contributed to many philanthropic causes, including Project Hope, Human Growth Foundation, Alzheimer's Association, Multiple Sclerosis, and Operation Liftoff.
