What a story. I have watched this film three times so far. I highly recommend this to anyone who is familiar with the story and I also advise you to purchase Nando Parrado's book, Miracle in the Andes. I remember vividly when it happened and was being reported in the news, I've read the book "Alive" (more than once), Nando Parrado's book "Miracle in the Andes", and also enjoyed the film that came out in the 90's. This documentary is mainly narrated by Parrado (who with Roberto Canessa was the hero of this event) and his heartfelt memories and emotions are extremely moving, and come through loud and clear because he lived it, and that is something that a professional narrator could never convey. For the first time ever, the hero of Uruguayan Flight 571, Nando Parrado, tells his story in its entirety. This is an extraordinary documentary; excellent dramatization and production.
