Late night replacement for a derailed plan, turned out to be a very wholesome but also conscientious and forward-thinking parable, with only slight clunkiness when it tries to make the metaphor more explicit.

Quite a different role for Jack Lemmon.Aguirre, Wrath of God is one of the greatest films. I've only seen 6/60 this month, including: West Side Story; The Age of Innocence; Grand Prix; Bullitt; Dinner at Eight; and It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.I would recommend Barbara Stanwyck’s Stella Dallas, Walk on the Wild Side, and Secrets. 149 films watched.
