After you destroy all the barrels, going back to Bane will reveal his true intentions... Most believe this was a result of his abuse of performance enhancing drugs, including the popular narcotic, Venom. While he was in prison, Amanda Waller was still interested in Bane for her Task Force X and started developing an upgraded Venom System in several labs thoughout Gotham. Bane was placed in the Arkham Ward of Blackgate, which was a secure facility for the most dangerous criminals.
The Arkham Knight tied a wire rope around Bane's neck and dragged him away from Batman with an APC. He then ruled over Gotham with an iron fist and cemented his reputation as the "Man who Broke the Bat", making him one of the most infamous criminals in Gotham City and one of Batman's most formidable foes. However, Bane was, after Batman's recovery, apprehended by the Dark Knight and sent to Bane, along with several other villains were released by the Joker at the end of the film. You will have to look for barrels of Titan after you find Bane in the Kranks Toy Factory and use explosive gel to destroy them.

A brilliant military mind and strategist, Bane was denied any hope for a normal life when he was forced to rot away within a foreign prison as a child for a crime his father committed. With his strength and strategic mind reintact (and no longer suffering the physical effects of his TN-1 overdose), Bane reassembled his militia with Bird and units of elite soldiers, and fought a series of gang wars against the Joker and his thugs. He wore a belt, and prisoner pants, with no boots. Bane also poured much of his resources into uncovering Batman's true identity and studied the hero extensively within the research facility of his hideout, and eventually came extremely close to deducing who Batman really was. Bane was then left helpless as Batman destroyed the last of the Titan. Gotham City itself intrigued Bane because, like his previous environment in the prison, Gotham was ruled by fear; fear of the Batman.

Batman escaped through a manhole to the surface where he was reunited with Gordon. He also has a metal tructure grafted to his spine due to the fact he needs it to support his muscles while using TITAN/Venom in a fight.

Bane watched as all of Batman's enemies systematically wore him down with his body's limit reaching its all time low and his mental state deteriorating. Despite having made great progress with his research, to the point where his followers were able to assimilate the drug into their body without harmful physical effects, Bane had yet to find a solution to overcome this severe memory loss. Imprisoned from birth to serve his dead father's sentence, Determined to build a criminal empire, he sought out Bane grew up in the horrendous and violent confines of the Santa Prisca prison: Peña Dura, and was imprisoned since he was a child for his father's crimes. He was voiced by Fred Tatasciore in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Bane's only weapon was his rocket launcher. Combined with a keen mind, this makes Bane an extreme threat.

Bane then made it his mission to not only conquer Batman, but Gotham itself, and build up his own criminal empire to achieve the peace that he had longed for at last.

However, in Arkh… Bane,despite his massive flame, possesses agility greater than that of normal humans. Cruel, and very confident in his strength, he was not above using trickery and power to achieve his goals, and was shown to be able to think of somewhat intricate plans that would end up taking out all his enemies. Bane grew up in the horrendous and violent confines of the Santa Prisca prison: Peña Dura, and was imprisoned since he was a child for his father's crimes. Bane will help Batman during a series of side missions that involve tracking down shipments of Titan that Joker brought into Arkham City. Determined to exact vengeance on the Dark Knight and conquer all of Gotham, Bane concocted a scheme to weaken Batman physically and mentally as well as weaken his resolve. The man died before his sentence was complete, however, and left his next of kin to be imprisoned instead: Bane.

At some point before or during the events of Arkham Origins, Bane met one of his rivals, This implied that Bane had encountered Ra's al Ghul and Bane and Batman facing off on the East Tower Terrace at the Royal HotelBane remained in hiding for the first part of the brutal night of Christmas Eve and made his plans. Waller used the riot to try to send her troops to retrieve Bane, and Batman tried to stop Bane's escape, but they both failed.
