A lot of things were off-putting for me about Charade so I've never quite been able to be a fan of it. It just has not got the bite of Charade with Cary Grant and his bunch of villains, I think they spent more on Sophia Lorens wardrobe than on a decent script writer, or perhaps the director forgot how he made Cary Grants masterpiece, the chemistry between these two players is not quite right.
