I paid for extra leg room by the starboard emergency door and I thought I had been upgraded when they offered me an AM plus seat, unfortunately the only advantage was a little more space between me and the seat in front.Aeromexico is a good airline to “fly” with, "checking in" is another story.
Aeromexico: Aeromexico AM plus not really worth the upgrade cost - See 10,194 traveller reviews, 1,692 candid photos, and great deals for World, at Tripadvisor. Aeromexico has recently introduced a new Business class, which is a slightly worse replica of Air France's Business class (the seats were a little harder, and amazingly there were no individual screens on the 767; 3 movies were available on the tiny communal screens in the cabin). This AeroMexico 737-800 has a total of 160 seats that are divided into three classes. Aeromexico: AM Plus - a total SCAM!
My seat, for example, had a broken entertainment system. AM Plus is AeroMexico’s extra legroom economy product. First class is known as Clase Premier and is comprised of 16 recliner seats in a 2-2 configuration that are 21 inches wide, with 39 inches of pitch. Recently, they took delivery of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, both 787-8 and 787-9,… Aeromexico has recently introduced a new Business class. I didn’t have any tequila or cerveza as my early departure meant I slept the whole way. On my return trip in economy I decided to have a beer and there was no charge so assuming beer and wine are included, AeroMexico AM Plus or not.Sticking with the meals, on my return, I had a pesto pasta that was swimming in oil. There were lots of open seats so most people stretched out across 3 under the provided blanket(s).
This is where the excitement ended. So your trip becomes a nightmare. The airline offers more comfortable seats and more space for the legs.
This makes all the difference if you have children on board with you. All in all a good memory. The 16-seat cabin (four rows of 2-2) has 39 inches of seat pitch and a legrest.
We on the other hand are learning Spanish and some of the staff were like French people and very rude to us even though we explained we were learning and they could clearly speak good English. This time, the seats were comfortable and not as hard and ergonomically off as their Dreamliner seats (I guess they want more people to buy business class tickets (their business class section has become huge in the Dreamliners)). On my return, I find blankets in economy as well.I’m struggling to find the difference here with AM Plus. I was very comfortable during the flight and I would travel again with AeromexicoInvariably, Aeromexico fails to depart on time, my last flight in this same route the delay was over 3h, this time it was only 30 minutes but still, I hope this is a sign of improvement and not an exception. This is the version of our website addressed to speakers of This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.Review tags are currently only available for English language reviews. This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. I would only upgrade again if I was in a middle seat in economy and the exit row was not available…or if it was free.
The baby cried, the parents moved all the time and it was am Awful tripOn the 11:30 PM flight we left on time, were served a generous snack of applesauce,M&M's, a croissant with 2 types of cheese, and a drink.
