We have based our distance learning plan on Senate Bill 98, which specifies the following for instruction in a distance learning format:While we are still developing agreements in negotiations with our certificated and classified unions, our plan for distance learning will include the following:We will share additional information on classroom assignments, device distribution, meal service schedules, and the distribution of learning materials (supplies, books, etc.) Agency hours: 7:30am-3:30pm (Mon.-Fri.) The Coos Bay School District, in alignment with the North Bend School District, has developed a plan to reopen school for the 2020-21 year that provides families with flexible instructional options and meets the requirements of the Oregon Department of Education. On The Forefront. On June 30th, the Oregon Department of Education released the updated version of guidance to reopening schools in the fall.

Due to the class size restrictions in the state guidance, we are unable to bring all students back full-time as we begin the school year. A weeks worth of breakfast and lunch meals will be distributed every Monday at the District Warehouse (1111 Saturn Blvd in San Diego) from 11:00-1:00.

The Bay Shore School District is sad to share the news of the passing of Lillian Barbash, Mrs. Barbash and her late husband Maurice co-founded the Bay Shore Arts Education funds which continues to enrich the lives of Bay Shore students of all ages.
