By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the murder of an American woman that occurred in San Ignacio. Thirty-one-year-old American national Ariana Jones was stabbed to death inside her apartment in the Bullet Tree Road area in San Ignacio. Minutes later a man visited the San Ignacio Police Station and informed them of the incident.Police followed him to the location where they found the body of Jones with apparent stab wounds.Her boyfriend, Javan Moody, 23, has since been charged for her murder.When asked for a motive police could share none and had only suggested that excessive alcohol consumption may have been a factor.
