We all enjoyed the visit. It was interesting seeing the innards of such a vast plane.Nice little stop before I spent a long wait at the Atlanta airport. The girls enjoyed their experience. I think you get the point- Delta has been part of my life, like UPS and Coke. What an absolutely neat place.
Arriving with a group of 10 or more? A ticket, without the flight simulator, is $15 for adults, $10 for kids.
It was very interesting and informative! This place is so neat, I don't know why it isn't more popular. In 2011, the attraction was designated a Historic Aerospace Site.
The Delta Air Lines East Gate will be the third Delta entrance on the left, near the Boeing 757.The guard at the security gate will tell you where to park. Although I've been in Atlanta for a little over 2 years now, I never knew of this museum. The new space also can be rented for special events, including business meetings, conferences and weddings.

I didn't even know Delta had a flight museum! The cancellation of events, simulator sales, and group tours has severely limited the museum’s income and staff hours. My sister works for Delta so we were so excited when she suggested touring the museum.
I was blown away by the displays and history the building contained. It isn't cheap to fly for this simulator but if you are aviator or you areMy son and I love planes.
My father worked 25 years for Eastern Airlines before they went bankrupt.
*The Delta Flight Museum Store can also be open during private events. The staff has done a fabulous job telling us (the audience) as to the rich history of Delta Airlines. Food was better than expected.
B, Dept. Great service, the staff was very attentive. Check out the hangar floorplans. The way I learned about this place was through my brother-in-law who happens to work for Delta and is a person who was born to be a pilot.
In 2011, the attraction was designated a Historic Aerospace Site. View Group Visits. We also received generous gifts from Delta Air Lines employees, retirees and friends of the Museum. Price was higher than I would have liked, based on the idea of a totally self guided tour. My only complaint is that the flight simulator is too expensive at $425. MUSEUM EVENTS.
The marquee exhibits and attractions of the museum are the retired 767 and 747 aircraft which are set up so you can walk on and through the planes.
The Exhibits are well displayed and laid out. He absolutely loves his career. Delta Flight Museum Address: 1060 Delta Blvd, Atlanta, GA Directions: I-85 southbound exit 74 (Loop Rd). The security officers are right at the entrance and from there they can direct you to parking which is ample. In fact, I fly about 95% of the time Delta, and the only reason why it isn't 100% of the time because there were a few times I did not have control of what airline I fly.
Please consider a financial donation to help support the museum and our employees through this difficult time. Growing up in Atlanta (the now HQ of Delta), it only made sense to patronize it. With children, you'll get through this museum in a couple of hours. The instructor gave me 5 different approaches into ATL, HNL, DCA, LGA, and JFK and the hardest landing was DCA for me. Nice aircraft to see, but would really like to see personal touches with employees inside during regular hours.
